The Closet | Sketches | UPP Studios

UPP Studios is proud to present, another new media sketch comedy video, entitled “The Closet.” Fewer and fewer people prove to be reliable nowadays. As such, when you find someone reliable, it’s best to keep that person in close proximity. We have worked with many talented actors throughout the time we’ve been making videos. As talented as an actor may be, not all actors take direction well. The process has the potential to turn from fun to frustrating when too much time is being spent trying to get the actors to deliver the lines in a way that is in line with your vision. We have never had that problem with Anthony Famulari. Anthony is one of the most reliable people we’ve ever met. He’s one of our “secret weapons.” No matter what, he comes through. If we need because we decided last minute that the sketch would be funnier with another character, he’s there in the drop of a hat. More important than his promptness, and his flexibility, however, Anthony is fantastic at taking direction. His subtle approach to character work makes him really enjoyable to watch. Even while towering over his scene partners with his large stature, Anthony manages to not cast a shadow on them, but rather support them, and in doing so he elevates the scene. Anthony was kind enough to stop by and help out with this sketch, even though he had a flight booked only hours later. His part took no time at all to film due to his professionalism, and yet again, he killed it with a hilarious cameo performance. There is a famous quote that says “there are no small parts, only small actors.” Anthony exudes the epitome of this sentiment, and we are grateful that he continues to give us his time. Thank you so much for tuning in! Let us know what you think in the comments section below!
