UPP Studios is proud to present, another new media sketch comedy video, entitled “Toddlers Take Fistfuls.” Mind over matter is a big part of not getting injured while filming. Most of the time this has to do with DIY stunts. If one approaches a DIY stunt, fixating on what could go wrong, they’re more than likely going to hurt themselves, creating a self-fulfilling prophecy. This sketch is about NOT choking. That’s why it’s quite ironic that David almost choked. He was supposed to fill his mouth with Cheerios for the video. Between the excessive amount of Cheerios that David shoved in his mouth, and the incessant giggling that occurred throughout the take, David was lucky to come out in one piece. It’s extremely important not to underestimate any DIY stunt, regardless of how small it may seem. While David was fortunate this time, if he’s not careful, he may not be as fortunate next time. Outside of luck though, the real reason he didn’t choke, is because Cheerios have holes in them, making it impossible to choke on them, right? Thanks for tuning in!
