UPP Studios is proud to bring to its viewers, the third of many new media sketch comedy videos to be released entitled “Commentating Gary.” Not all improv is created equal, which is something that UPP Studios producers learned the hard way whilst creating this sketch. The intent was to keep a very free form, as sports announcers are generally fast and loose by nature. After the first attempt at improvising the dialogue, however, the producers found that it would be best to make this sketch pre-scripted as to include the most illustrative dialogue which would best facilitate this video’s concept. In short, while all videos are given due time and careful consideration as to their content, it can be more or less difficult to operate “off the cuff” depending on the context of the content.
