UPP Studios is proudly presents, another ultra-short new media sketch comedy video, entitled “A$$ Tie.” With these new shorter videos that we are making for the Cheez app, we have been forced to re-evaluate the way that we make our videos. 17 seconds comes and goes very quickly. Whereas for other platforms we were used to telling a whole story, with an arc, for Cheez, it is best to focus on a moment or an instance. Furthermore, it is most effective to display a moment of peak intensity. Coming up with ideas within the confines of these new parameters, things have the potential to get crazy and weird. This video is one such instance. David M. Goldman and Adam C. Lively are a team like no other. The way in which their strengths complement each other is unmatched. For the most part, anything David can’t do, Adam can, and vice versa. In addition, both are always prepared to go to extreme lengths for the sake of their content. David is constantly throwing himself around like a rag-doll, acting as his own stuntman, regardless of what injuries he may incur. While David is beating himself up for a video, Adam is generally getting undressed. Adam is never afraid to be vulnerable on camera, which for an actor is invaluable. Continue to tune in and you are guaranteed a front row seat to all the action as these two use and abuse themselves, and each other, for your viewing pleasure!
